Returns & Exchanges

At Dayara Homes, each piece is handcrafted with utmost care — and we want you to love what arrives at your door. If something isn't right, we're here to make it right.

Please read through our policy below so you know exactly what to expect.

 

1. What We Offer

Our default resolution is a replacement or exchange. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect — we'll replace or exchange it, no questions asked.

In rare cases, a refund may apply. See the details further down.

 

2. When to Reach Out

All return and exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery. Requests made after this window cannot be accommodated, so please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.

 

3. What Qualifies

We accept replacement/exchange requests in the following cases:

  • Damaged in transit Your piece arrived cracked, chipped, or broken due to shipping.
  • Manufacturing defect There is a structural or functional issue, such as deep cracks, severe chips, or instability, that affects usability.
  • Wrong item received You received a product different than what you ordered.

 

4. What Doesn't Qualify

The following will not be eligible for a return or exchange:

  • Handmade variations Our ceramics are handmade. Subtle differences in glaze, colour, texture, brush strokes, minor pinholes, and slight size variations are natural. These are not defects — that is what makes each piece one of a kind.
  • Post-delivery damage Any breakage, scratches, stains, or wear that occurs after the product has been delivered and accepted.
  • Used or altered items Products that have been used, washed, or modified in any way.
  • Sale or discounted items Products purchased at a reduced price are final sale.

 

5. How to Raise a Request

To initiate an exchange or replacement, reach out to us within 48 hours of delivery via:

Please include:

  1. Your order number
  2. Clear photographs of the product and packaging showing the damage or defect
  3. An unboxing video (strongly recommended — this helps us resolve your request faster)

 

6. What Happens Next

Once we receive your request with the required details, our team will review it and get back to you within 24–48 hours.

If approved, we will arrange a pickup of the item at no cost to you. The product must be returned unused, in its original packaging, with all tags and accessories intact.

A replacement will be shipped once we receive and inspect the returned item. If the same product is out of stock, we'll offer you an exchange for a different item of equal value.

 

7. When a Refund Comes Into Play

While we always try to resolve things with a replacement or exchange first, there are two situations where we'll process a refund to your original payment method:

1. We can't send you a replacement If a product arrives damaged or defective and we're unable to fulfil a replacement (e.g., the item is discontinued or out of stock with no suitable alternative), we'll issue a full refund instead.

2. We cancel your order on our end On the rare occasion that we're unable to fulfil an order due to stock issues, logistical constraints, or other circumstances beyond our control, you'll receive a complete refund. 

Refunds are processed to the original payment method and typically reflect in your account within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

 

8. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 4 hours of placement by contacting us on WhatsApp or email. After this window, cancellations may not be possible if the order has already been processed or shipped.

 

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

— We reserve the right to decline a request if the product does not meet the conditions outlined above upon inspection.

— Products must be packed securely for return. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during return transit due to improper packing.

— Replacement timelines depend on product availability and your delivery location.
